A quick sketch of a tree kangaroo.
Also an excuse to try out a different kind of ink.
Some other drawings I did at the Zoology Museum.
Andrewsarchus— work in progress
Name: James Schlitt
Time: 4-6 PM
Weather: ~75°F, light cloud cover
Location: Mcafee’s Knob Peak
Very brisk hike, didn’t stop & smell the roses. Some early appearance of acorns. Berries totally absent, no blackberry types available in power line corridor. Dramatic change in fauna near top. Found interesting monocot isolated to peak boulder cracks.
- Spiked clusters of leaves, like rosemary leaves or play jacks.
- Clover like white flowers, reddish inner hue, compound.
