our individual galleries for the program website are up! see my work and the rest of my talented 2012 class here (we’re conveniently highlighted as “new”). note: it’s still missing two people, so be sure to check for updates. i think it’s pretty neat you can see the past work of all the program graduates dating back to ‘97. i’m pretty sure i obsessively went through them all as a wee application hopeful just over a year ago. and now my name has a space among them. it’s a strange feeling.another thing: kqed quest did an article on our physical gallery show a while back, which i forgot to post. they had some pretty kind things to say. find it here.

Does anyone know where this illustration comes from? the only clue is that the book it came from is written in German - a bit vague but I would be very grateful if anyone can track the source.

Felt like scribbling out a maned wolf, as there have been a couple on my dash recently. They’re so damn elegant and poised-looking. I should draw aardwolves and hyenas too…
