Neanderthal Man
Sketchbook page from the other day… I was pretty happy with this piece, not so much the quality of the drawing as much as the speed I completed it. I’ve been trying to work faster and I think my speeds getting a little better, this was about a 2 and a half hour session…
Here I’m studying the basic surface anatomy of the Neanderthal man, lately I’ve been pretty obsessed with evolution and this whole idea of primitive man, and the different species of man throughout time. It’s a subject I have always had a lot of interest in… but anyway, I hope you all like it!

Pangolin attack. Suck on this pangolin. Wiki says “they lack teeth and the ability to chew”. Poor pangolins.
