Anastomosis - The female portrays the superficial venous blood flow, the male depicts deep arterial blood flow. Together they form the complete circulatory system. Anastomosis is the term used in anatomy when two blood vessels connect and literally means to “open” or to “kiss”.

Cure for the hiccups:
-Getting rid the hiccups is easy by massaging the phrenic nerve (red arrows). A hiccup is when the diaphragm is in spasmodic contraction caused by repetitive stimulation from this nerve. The nerve is located on both sides.
