First of all I must apologise for the terrible light in these pictures. The lighting in my house gives a very yellow glow.
These images a part of something I am doing at the moment called ‘A Drawing A Day.’ My boyfriend gave me the idea, and basically it’s exactly as the title suggests. Doing at least one drawing a day, for the year. It’s a way of keeping fresh and moving, as well as all the other things you have to do in your day. It’s nice to sit down and take the time, even if it’s only ten minutes, to draw.
Because I am working on interior projects at the moment, looking in particular at fungi then these studies are all relating to that. I am drawing different angles and sections of the same mushroom, to make into a pattern repeat.
