Watercolour by Miss Battersby showing a wasp caught in a spider’s web. The R.D.S. Library received a gift of four albums of nature drawings from Miss Battersby of 21 North Cumberland Street, Dublin in 1837. These came to the National Lbrary of Ireland after our founding 40 years later.
