‘The first carbon-dust drawing I ever did … oh my gosh, back in 1994! “Heliocopris” was an illustration for the book “Hunting Dinosaurs” by Louis Psihoyos. This particular section of the book discussed coprolites (fossil dung) and the author wanted a rendition of a modern dung beetle. By the time I finished the drawing, I was pooped!’
