  • marywilliams: The fruits of my workshop labor today. James Gurney taught us to how to use water-soluble colored pencils (Caran d’Ache Supracolors) and it was just amazing. He is one of the NICEST people I have ever met and he was so great teaching us—the majority of the group had never done the technique before (me included) and some people weren’t even artists! Phenomenal. And I love Toronto, too. Agh, I just wanted to cry I was so happy. :’) There is a picture of me holding my drawing that I want to add but it’s being a turd so I’ll have to try to upload that later. And an actual scan will be uploaded this week, too. :)
